Dear Ask The Doctor: Can i take alli diet pills with cipralex
Dear Ola: I would always urge caution when using diet pills with cipralex as their influence on other drugs and conditions can be uncertain. My recommendation would be to review your diet and if necessary look at other ways to promote weight loss. If you can cut down on the calories you consume, replacing highly calorific (sugar and fat) products with fruit or fibre, then this will generally be healthy and still give you the satisfaction you need. Wherever possible, you should also try to ensure your physical activity is as much as you can tolerate. Exercise in any form, walking or swimming etc. will help manage your weight, improve your overall fitness and moreover the positive effects will help your mood and ease your depression. If you find this is not possible, then weight loss medication may help, but it must be taken on prescription and under close supervision by a doctor who knows what other treatments you are receiving. I would avoid herbal and other wight-loss products as they are usually ineffective. I hope this helps. |
