Welcome to my website... I'm Dr. Golden.

I am a Board Certified Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Specialist, practicing in the San Joaquin Valley of central California. My certifications are from the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Chelation Therapy. I have been in private practice for 14 years, and decided in l996 to reach out through the world wide web to help educate and inform individuals interested in health care issues.

Over the course of my own medical education, and through the years of private practice experience and exposure, it became clear to me that although the United States generally provides the best health care known today, it was necessary to expand my own knowledge base, and incorporate alternatives to mainstream, allopathic medicine. I realized through the work with my patient base, that although Western Medicine is well equipped and informed to diagnose disease and to treat chronic illness, the treatments for these conditions were limited, and did not include alternative, integrative medicines and procedures.

My practice philosophy incorporates the latest in cutting edge modern medicine blended with alternative medicines and methods not commonly offered in todays fast paced medical delivery system. I believe that nutritional supplementation, including vitamins, minerals, herbs and natural hormone replacement therapy, plus naturally occurring extracts, dietary/nutritional advice and education, all have a place in the treatment of my patients. I invest time educating my staff and patients in order that their medical needs be met and satisfied.

The internet has changed the way we view and understand those matters that were previously so difficult to research. Medical information and advice is now at your fingertips, and the internet has allowed this to occur. It is my belief that knowledge is power, and this has never been more evident then in a patient's self-education about their health matters. It is websites like this one, that can begin this process, the empowerment of individuals to explore personal health issues. Unfortunately, until the current legal disputes surrounding telemedicine are resolved, I can only answer questions from my established patients. However, in the future, this site will be updated to provide viewers with information about recent additions and exciting new developments in my practice and what it can mean to you.
