Dear Enris: You should always be evaluated by a physician after a head trauma, especially after a car accident. Some types of bruises can get complicated if they start putting pressure inside the skull. Even if the head trauma was not too powerful to cause a head injury, a patient should always be observed for a few hours before been discharged from the hospital.I would suggest you to be evaluated by your healthcare provider when possible, watch for signs of alarm like extreme headache, blurry vision, dizziness and too much sleep. Seek immediate attention if one of those occurs. |
