Dear Ask The Doctor: Can u please give me a list of food that i can eat and cannot eat as a person who been dianosed with hypothyroid

Dear Vildra: There are no dietary modifications required for individuals diagnosed with Hypothyroidism.  A balanced diet as recommended by your National food guide is sufficient.

Hypothyroidism does require medical treatment which is usually in the form of daily thyroid hormone replacement.

Thyroid hormone can not be obtained through food sources.
