Dear Ask The Doctor: Could the air conditioning from the office affect my condition if I have bronshic asthma? I feel stitches in my chest and i don't have enough air. Dear Marius: Yes, asthma is an allergic condition of your bronchi. Many people are reactive to cold air from AC as well as dust and other allergens. Moldy air sometimes contained in air blowing from the AC could cause an acute reaction. |
