Dear Ask The Doctor: I would like to know can doxcycline make you test positive for cocaine in a urinalysis? my son is taking it for a std and recently we gave him a drug test and hes tested positive for cocaine he swears he has never touched and i really believe him Dear Ashley: Urine cocaine tests are fairly inaccurate. There are at several over the counter medications that can cause false positives on testing as well. I do not know specifically if doxycycline is included in the list of drugs that cause false positives but I would not doubt it. I think the best thing to do here is rely on your parental instincts. |
