Noriday |

Dear Ask The Doctor: I have had two cone biopsies to remove pre-cancerous cells from my cervix. Have been given noriday to take as i am currently breastfeeding and the instructions say do not take if you have had cancer of cervix, breast etc. does this count if i have had pre cancerous cells? Dear Emma: I realize your worry about cone biopsy and contraceptive treatment. Noriday is a contraceptive drug for women sometimes called the mini pill or progestogen-only pill (POP). The cone biopsy can be used as a treatment to completely remove many pre-cancers and some very early cancers. If after the pathology report, the conclusion of it was pre cancerous cells, you should not worry about taking Noriday. I would suggest you to consult your Gynecologist to confirm your diagnosis.
