Dear Ask The Doctor: "My wife is almost 3 months pregnant. Today I had MMR booster and we had sex. Is the pregnancy under serious risk?" Dear Peter: Though MMR is contraindicated in pregnancy as it is a live vaccine, there is no risk to the pregnancy if the husband receives the MMR booster during this time.
