Amoxicillin and calpol: Can it be given together?

Dear Ask The Doctor: My son has been given Amoxicillin for a minor chest infection. He's also teething. Is it safe to give him calpol too?

Dear Rick: Yes you can safely give him these too medications . Instead of calpol you can also use tylenol or advil which is acetaminophen. All the best.
