Dear Ask The Doctor: My boyfriend and i had unprotected sex. He ejaculated in me twice in one day. The next day, we went to the pharmacy to pick up a Plan B pill. Will one pill prevent pregnancy if he ejaculated in me twice? Dear Cassie: Plan B is very effective if taken within 24 hours of conception, after that the probability of becoming pregnant increases. If you want to avoid unwanted pregnancies, I would suggest you to choose a contraceptive method such as condoms and oral contraceptives pills and don’t wait to take Plan B since it could alter your cycles if taken as a contraceptive method. |
