Dear Ask The Doctor: My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant. My question is he and I had intercourse this month while I was ovulating will I still get my period this month or no? Dear Courtney: In a normal healthy female, you will have menses (uterine bleeding) any time conception and implantation of a fertilized egg does not occur. The menstrual cycle is not effected by sexual intercourse, only by conceptions and implantation. |
