Dear Ask The Doctor: Hello I recenttly took 2 pregnancy test that were positive but the dr urine test say negative so they had me do blood is this possible? Dear Tamara: Yes, the urine pregnancy tests are not as accurate as having a blood test performed. Certainly after your results come back you will rule out definitely pregnancy. Home urine pregnancy test should always be confirmed with a blood pregnancy test done by your health care provider. I wish you the best.
