Dear Ask The Doctor: I just recently found out i was pregnant and in a 3 week time span itook 2 restoril pills. will this cause abnorlaties if that was all that was taken in the first trimester? Dear Kandice: Restoril (Temazepam) is a drug that is used for treating anxiety. Tamezepam is known to cause fetal damage and congenital malformations when taking in the first trimester. I would advise you to consult your health care provider to rule out any fetal complications from the use of restoril. |
