Dear Ask The Doctor: Can a regular ovarian cyst appear on Xray or only the dermoid type? Dear Layal: X-ray of an ovarian cyst will be helpful in determining whether the cyst is composed of solid materials or a combination of fluid and solid materials. Thus an x-ray may reveal whether the cyst is a benign dermoid cyst or a malignant tumor. |
