Can a hysterectomy be reversed? |
|
Dear Ask The Doctor: Is it possible for a woman who has had a vaginal hysterectomy and tubaligation to have a corrective surgery so she can have another child? Dear Kirstin: A hysterectomy is the permanent removal of the Uterus. It is done in cases of suspected cancer or uncontrollable vaginal bleeding. Once removed, it can not be replaced. Without a uterus, there would be no chance of concoeving a child. |
