Dear Ask The Doctor: Well my last period was a day late, when I got it the first day was very very light which usually heave and then the next 2 days I had it, it was light and more of a brown colour not long before my period I ha unprotected sex with my boyfriend, could I be pregnant or is it a odd period? this has never happened before Dear Jessica: Though there may be a chance that you are pregnant, they are minimal. To be sure you may take a home pregnancy test or see your doctor for a blood pregnancy test for more accurate results and confirmation. However lighter periods than the usual may also occur with some other reasons like stress, anemia, improper diet, extreme exercise, weight loss etc. |
