Dear Ask The Doctor: I m a 19 year old girl and i havent go my period since 2 months ago and i have never been regular. i am still a virgin so there is no pregnancy worries. is there anything i can do to hurry it up? Dear Leslie: I do understand your concern about your infrequent periods. The possible causes could be due to stress or caloric deprivation. I would advise you to observe your periods and if they continue to be irregular, I would recommend that you see your doctor to rule out any underlying pathology. Treatment will depend on the cause, take care. |
