Dear Ask The Doctor: Hi, I have irregular periods.I can have a 24 cycle, sometimes a 30 cycle.Theyre usually heavy and last for 5 days.Where would i know when i ovulate.
Dear Esther:
Let me reassure you that having your menses from 28 to 30 days is normal. About Ovulation, this occurs about 14-16 days before your period (not 14 days after the start of their period). The second half of the cycle, ovulation to menstruation, is fairly consistently the same length, but the first part changes from person to person and from cycle to cycle. |
