Dear Ask The Doctor: Im a 33 year old woman and I just came on my menstrual cycle for the second time this month two weeks after the first cycle. But this period has lasted for nine days so far and is still really strong. My normal monthly cycle is four days and I have not taken birth control since I was 18 years old. Im not in any pain but very scared, please tell me what to do? Dear Romanetha: No need to worry. Sometimes your cycles can get screwed around with when under stress or some other kind of change in your life. I would just try relaxing more and maybe go see your family doctor is the condition does not improve. |
