Dear Ask The Doctor: I wanted to know how to take my cramps away without using medicine because my doctor told me to take naproxen and it is not working at all
Dear Jovita: Adequate rest, regular exercise, walking, abdominal massage or yoga may help reduce your menstrual cramps. A heating pad applied to the abdominal area can also help relieve pain and congestion. You may use ibuprofen available over the counter, that would be beneficial for cramps.
