Dear Ask The Doctor: I'm just wondering if taking Amoxicillin Can mess up a woman's period cycle. My wife is a few days late. She has taken a pregnancy teat which came back negative so I'm just wondering of it's possible for antibiotics to do this?? Dear Pete: Amoxicillin does not cause alteration in the menstrual cycle. The most probale cause in this case could be due to the stress. |
