Once i have them i get my period regular for two months again the same issue and im advised the tabs. Now im married and my DGO gives me Naturogestone IM and folic acid tabs. i still have irregular periods my last period was on Nov 29 and i havent got a sign o of it coming. on 27th deec i had nausea and tiredness it continued till 31st. but now im ok and normal. I have White discharge like milk in color recently. Is there a possibility for me to be pregnant. please advise urgent
Dear Pavithra: I presume Naturogestone IM is a progesterone injectable. This is used to increase the chances of pregnancy in treatment procedures like ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) and IVF (In-vitro Fertilization). It is also used to prevent heavy periods due to anovulatory cycles and in nonpregnant women with a delayed menstruation in order to allow the thickened endometrial lining to slough off. This process is termed a progesterone withdrawal bleed.
Progesterone often brings on pregnancy-like symptoms, and also makes your cycle longer. If you are on progesterone and you are experiencing symptoms of pregnancy, you may not necessarily be pregnant and you will need to do a pregnancy test to find out. I would suggest that you see your doctor for a blood pregnancy test and further information. |
