Dear Ask The Doctor: I am 3 weeks late for my period. I have taken 6 tests which all have said no. The latest i have ever been has been a few days. Could i be pregnant if not what is going on? I am also on birth control. I didnt have any spotting. Dear Jessica: If on birth control there are 99% chance that you are not pregnant. Also there is a possibility of missing a period while on pills. Other reasons may include stress, low hemoglobin, inproper nutrition, ovarian cyst etc. You may want to take a blood test for pregnancy in case of doubts.
