Dear Ask The Doctor: So I take Yasmin and I missed three days in a row, and was on antibiotics, is it possible that I could be pregnant. I have missed my period, I am a whole week late. Dear Delania: Missing three days of oral contraceptive will definitely increase the chances of pregnancy. The use of antibiotics though may not decrease the effectiveness of Yasmin. Since you've missed your periods and are a week late, I would suggest that you do a pregnancy test to find out whether you are pregnant or not. |
