Dear Ask The Doctor: When could i star take birth control if i had my c-section in December 16,2009? am 2week and 4days since my c-section. Dear Marili: Birth control can begin very soon after delivery or C-section. Many women are started after 1 week. If you are breast feeding, please speak to your doctor as he or she may prescribe a progesterone only form of birth control so that it does not interfere with breast milk production. |
