Dear Ask The Doctor: What happens if you are early on taking your birth control and you stop taking them to get caught back up am i at risk of being pregnant Dear Brooke: There is always a risk of pregnancy occuring if the birth control pills have not been taken as directed as this reduces their effectiveness. If you do have an active sexual life and have not take the pills properly there are chances that you may have a pregnancy and thus should take a home pregnancy test. All the best. |
