Dear Samantha: Vomiting blood in pregnancy is never a normal finding. Please call the ER or go there immediately. This could be due to a bleeding gastric ulcer or pre-eclampsia. You should not ignore if you have severe blood vomiting in pregnancy as it can lead to complications if not treated at the earliest.
