Dear Ask The Doctor: I take 180mg of Cardizem LA, daily, for mild a-fib. Can I take Cialis? Dear Billy: Cardizem can prolong and/or increase the effect of Cialis. This is considered a moderate drug interaction, not a serious one but you should still be cautious. If you will decide to take both, symptoms to watch out for are chest tightness, shortness of breath, visual disturbances, fainting, nausea, irregular heart beat and prolonged erection (more than 4 hours).
