How long to use Metronidazole Cream for Rosacea

Dear Ask The Doctor: I have just been diagnosed with mild Rosacea by my dermatologist. He prescribed Metronidazole 0.75% Topical Cream. The directions say to apply to my face 2x a day. My question is how long do I need to use this for?

Dear Robert: I would advice you to use the same for about 10 days and discontinue it there after if there is an improvement. If there is no improvement please consult your physician again for a follow up. All the best.
