Dear Ask The Doctor: I would like to know is there something I can take or do to my period leaves faster? I getting marry on Wednesday night and I just got my period today. Dear Bonnie: There may not be any pills or measure that can be used routinely or without your doctor’s supervision and prescription, to stop bleeding during periods once they start or make them leave early. Taking ibuprofen may reduce the bleeding to some extent, but not for sure in every case. You may mess up the regularity of your periods by trying to change its routine flow. Best would be to let nature run its course.
