Veins visible on penis

Dear Ask The Doctor: Hello, I am a 13 Year old boy and I have a question. I have had visible veins on my penis (no specific spot)(all over)they are not clustered or look like worms. They never hurt, itch or anything like that. They have been there for as long as I can remember. Is this serious and any ideas on making them go away? They show all the time. Thanks!

Dear Sam: You have no need to worry about anything. What you are describing is 100% normal and there is really no way of making it go away. Its fully normal what you have so dont panic about anything.
