Dear Ask The Doctor: I had a baby 6 months ago, I have not have sex with my housband for over a year, is it possible for him to transmitted me hpv, my doctor found skin warts, what are the chances I got this from him? Dear Yadira: HPV is human papilloma virus that is usually spread through sexual contact. The warts are also infectious and can spread the virus. Skin warts can usually spread through close contact with another person infected with HPV but Sexual contact method of spread is more common. Thus you definately could have acquired this infection from you husband. |
