Dear Ask The Doctor: Over the past couple of years my sperm volume has dropped considerably. I have very little lubricant and when I orgasm the amount of sperm is minimal. Several drops only. Any idea on what may cause this?The sensation feels normal. Dear Cam: Semen volume varies between individuals with the range being somewhere between 2.3 ml to 5ml. The volume of semen tends to decrease with increasing age. What are you noticing may indeed be a normal decrease in volume that comes with age. |
