Dear Ask The Doctor: I have tight foreskin and are ashamed to show girls because of what they think. What should i do ? Dear Connor: Phimosis is the condtion in which the foreskin cannot be retracted over the head of the penis. The cause of phimosis may not be known but infection(balanitis) may be a contributing factor. Phimosis can be treated medically at first with steroid creams and gentle stretching of the skin. If these do not work then surgery (circumcision) or a small incision may relieve the constricted opening. |
