Raped four days ago

Dear Ask The Doctor: I am a 20 year old Female and 4 days ago I was raped. I have dark bruises on my inner thighs and chest and back. I also have some scratches on my back that I think are from broken glass, but I'm not 100% sure. They are still quite painful. I am too scared to go to my doctor as I do not know how he will respond, and I am very embarressed and feel guilty and like I would be taking up time that real sick people need. Is there any real reason to see my GP? I think I might need an STD test at some stage. I am just so scared to tell him and how he will react. Thank you in advance.
