Dear Ask The Doctor: My boyfriend and I had protected sex yesterday, but the condom broke and he ejaculated inside me. Today I got my period, exactly 28 days after my last cycle. Should I still take the morning after pill? Dear Alyssa: You may not require morning after pill since you already had your periods now, and there would be no egg available until around your next ovulation period, to be fertilised by the sperms.
