Dear Ask The Doctor: I had an operation when i was 11yrs old and had 1 of my testicle removed, this means i produce low sperm levels, i just want to find out if this affects my fertility status of impregnating a female? Dear Tafadzwa: The removal of a testicle does affect your fertility somewhat. However, you will still be able to father children should you so desire. Removal of one testicle does not make you infertile. |
