Dear Ask The Doctor: IS HAVING AN ULTRA VIOLET FLUORESCENT LIGHT IN MY SON'S BEDROOM HARMFUL TO HIM IN ANY WAY. THIS IS THE LIGHT THAT ONE WOULD FIND IN A DISCO OR AT A PARTY. HE IS IN THE ROOM WITH THIS LIGHT ON FOR 2-3 HOURS A DAY. Dear Scott: UV lights may damage the collage and vitamin A causing damage to the skin. I would not suggest exposing your son to the UV lights for long periods of time. |
