Dear Ask The Doctor: I have a lump to the left of my belly button that is sore if I press on it Dear Luanne: This could most probably be a folliculitis or an abscess. If warm compresses and antibiotics don't resolve the symptoms or if the swelling becomes bigger, you may need to see a surgeon to drain the abscess. |
