ACL INJURY Rehabiltation

Dear Ask The Doctor: Hello Doctor, Recently I have undergone ACL reconstruction. Now it is almost a month after the reconstruction. My question is that will i be a normal person after the reconstruction. if so, after how many days. Please could you answer this question? Thanks,

Dear Rohit: Rehabilitation after ACL surgery is a very long process. It requires intense physical therapy and a great deal of patience on your part. However, if you adhere to the treatment regime you should be able to return to your normal activities after 6-12 months.
