Scar From ACL Surgery

Dear Ask The Doctor: I have had surgery done to repair my ACL many years ago, yet the scar from the surgery is still very visible. I have attached a couple of photos for you to see the scar as well. What can I do if anything to reduce the scar?

Dear James: There are not too many options that you can do about healing scars unfortunately. The one option you can try is getting a cream enriched with Vitamin E, as this does tend to help some people. Over time you will notice the scar fade away as well. I Hope this helps.
