HIV result- NON REACTIVE

Dear Ask The Doctor: Hi Doctor, Last Week I had HIV test done.The resule was NON REACTIVE and the COI is 0.362.I m worried if yhat COI value is 0.362. Please tell me if that value does not effect since the result was non reactive. Please reply me sirs. Thank you.

I understand your worry about this result. Let me reassure you that you should not worry since the result of NON REACTIVE means that you currently don’t have the HIV virus in your body.

COI means co infection with another virus that might be related to HIV such as Hepatitis C for example. The c value is low meaning that the relation might not be possible. I hope I cleared your doubt.
