It was like it was moaning. I took some Advil and ate because I haven't been eating right lately the pain went away after I ate and came back when I sat down near my computer now the pain in on the lover right side where is the appendix should I contact my doctor? I saw on the internet the pain would be horrible but right now the pain is really nothing it's just annoying me I'm drinking as much water as I can. My temperature is 95.1 which is low for me. I don't feel nausea or anything. So should I call my doctor?
Dear Nikita: There are many conditions which may mimic appendicitis and without an complete examination it is difficult to say with certaintity that your appendix is inflammed. An inflammed appendix usually causes loss of appetite, some vomiting, right lower abdominal pain and a mild fever. All the symptoms are not always present, so it is possible that you have some of the early signs. It is best to have yourself examined by a physician to identify the precise cause of your aprticular symptoms and he/she can then recommend the appropriate treatment. Other cause of right lower abdominal pain include hernias, urinary tract infections and intestinal infections. |
