Dear Ask The Doctor: I developed high BP after pyelonephritis. I was treated with nifedipine, inderal, atenolol and antibiotics. My problem is that since then i developed palpitations that occur frequently and mostly at night when i'm just about to sleep. My left chest and kidney regions always feels tired and awful. Please help. Dear Francis: Your symptoms of palpitation is probably caused by inderal (propranolol). You may need to consult your doctor with regard to your symptoms and rule out rhythm disturbances of the heart. |
