Dear Suhyna: The Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (in children) and Rheumatoid Arthritis (in adults) are part of a wide array of immunological disorders, and in the view of the symptoms that you described: painful and swollen ankles, knees, the suggested strategy would be the assessment by a Rheumatologist and get lab tests done to rule out RA and any other type of autoimmune disease, also any other metabolic problem, for example thyroid. |
