Dear Ask The Doctor: Good day Doctor I am not sure if I have arthritis, I am experiencing the following unusual sweliing of the entire body including ankles, Kness and feet, my clothes are tight so are my rings and I suffer with survive headaches. my left leg has a constent throbing pain and if touched gushes down under my foot.I am very umcomfortable please help me Dear Suhyna: The Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (in children) and Rheumatoid Arthritis (in adults) are part of a wide array of immunological disorders, and in the view of the symptoms that you described: painful and swollen ankles, knees, the suggested strategy would be the assessment by a Rheumatologist and get lab tests done to rule out RA and any other type of autoimmune disease, also any other metabolic problem, for example thyroid. |
