Drug interaction of Cortaflex with warfarin |
|
Dear Ask The Doctor: I would like to try taking cortaflex but I take warfarin is this ok? Dear Gilly: Cortaflex (Glucosamine sulfate & chondroitin sulfate) is commonly used for osteoarthritis. Glucosamine may interact with warfarin resulting in increased INR (International Normalized Ratio) which may lead to increased risk of bleeding or bruising. I would not advise that you take Cortaflex when on warfarin. |
