Dear Ask The Doctor: We live with someone who has an std and there is no cure for it, he wont tell us what it is but says that it causes blisters and there is no cure for it. what is it and can anyone liveing around him get it???? Dear June: STD's like herpes cause blisters typically. However other STD's can also lead to similar symptoms. STD;s are transmitted through sexual contact and not through casual touch and contact thus it will not spread to anyone living around a patient except if they have sexual contacts with the patient. |
