Dear Ask The Doctor: We did a MRI-Brain for our son (2 Year old boy) and the result shows "evidence of bilateral occipital very thin linear strands of abnormal bright T2 and fair signal". Please advise what it means Dear Sivaram: First of all, why did your son got prescribed the MRI? . The report is not conclusive or specific and you have to talk to your son’s doctor to discuss what will be the next step to determine the nature of the finding reported in the MRI. |
