Dear Ask The Doctor: I am taking dostinex .5mg a per week. I am wondering if this drug causes breast cancer. thx Dear Sev: Dostinex (Cabergoline) is a dopamine D2 receptor agonist and is used in the treatment of prolactinomas. Though dostinex may cause breast tenderness, there is no evidence of it causing breast cancer. |
