Soreness and small lump post chest trauma

Dear Ask The Doctor: On March 2,2012 I walked into the corner of my suv door st full force piercing my left nipple was very pain full no cut or bruising 20 days later Iam still have soreness and a small bump under nipple Iam 35 years young , and no symptoms before trauma workout regular wit weights saw my doc said check back wit him in June, not to alarmed by it?? thanking you

Dear Martin: It is expected bruising, pain and swelling after such an injury, regarding the lump, possibly is a small hematoma, which in time will be reabsorbed. Keep follow up with your doctor, just to make sure that everything is ok.
